As a Cloud Application Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our cloud-based infrastructure and applications. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions using AWS services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions. Work with other teams to migrate or re-engineer SAS or MS-SQL Server applications to AWS. Enhance and maintain existing .NET and MS-SQL Server applications. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime. Mentor and guide junior team members and QA, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Define and report best practices and procedures for process improvement and maintenance. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, DevOps methodologies, and emerging trends in the industry. Manage multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision and work effectively in a team environment. Pay Range: The ordinary pay range for this position is: Minimum: $22/hour Maximum: $30/hour This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time earnings for all positions within the job grade. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience as an Application Development Engineer or similar position, with a focus on AWS, Python, or PySpark. Proficiency in developing and implementing AWS-based solutions and familiarity with cloud storage. Experience with APIs and Web services in integrating applications on the internet. Experience as a .NET developer and familiarity with the framework. Proficiency with databases, including writing optimized SQL queries, creating views, functions, and stored procedures. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare experience: A specific expertise in HIPAA and other regulatory compliances, including PCI, PII, and PHI.
