Job Summary: As a Senior Data Engineer at CVS Health, you will work closely with various business groups and cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that drive business insights and inform decision-making. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, ETL processes, and database systems, as well as collaborating with data scientists to integrate models and algorithms into automated processes. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain large-scale data architectures and pipelines to organize, collect, and normalize data Develop ETL processes, database systems, and tools for real-time and offline analytical processing Collaborate with data science teams to integrate models and algorithms into automated processes Work with Cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and experience with data warehousing and ETL Utilize strong programming skills in Python or other relevant languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems Develop data stores and data models to support Information Science and other internal clients Analyze current data technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 2+ years of relevant work experience in Information Engineering 2+ years of experience with SQL 2+ years of experience with Python Experience with Cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau) Healthcare industry experience What We Offer: CVS Health offers a competitive salary of $25/hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
