Job Summary: CVS Health, a leading healthcare company, is seeking a highly skilled Principal DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely. As a technical thought leader and individual contributor, you will drive organizational change by developing DevOps tooling, practices, and culture. You will contribute to enterprise-wide requirements and ensure adoption of visibility, scalability, availability, security, and cost execution. Key Responsibilities: Lead DevOps strategy, covering design and development of tools, practices, and culture Establish and implement DevOps best practices, including version control, code review, automated testing, and deployment strategies Design and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements Monitor and analyze DevOps pipelines and practices, identifying areas for improvement and automation Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies, trends, and best practices, making recommendations for adoption within the organization's DevOps environment Coach and provide technical guidance to junior colleagues, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning Requirements: Bachelor's degree Experience working in public cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Proficiency in infrastructure as code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git) Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or similar Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate complex DevOps platform issues Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including experience with vulnerability scanning and compliance frameworks Leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring junior engineers What We Offer: Competitive salary: $27/hour Opportunity to work with a leading healthcare company Flexible remote work arrangement Collaborative and dynamic work environment How to Apply: If you are a motivated individual ready to contribute to a thriving team, we encourage you to apply now!
