Remote Medical Biller & Coder (eClinicalWorks & TriZetto Required)
Job Summary:
Happy Vitals is seeking an experienced Medical Biller & Coder to join our team in Lakewood, NJ. As a vital member of our operations, you will be responsible for managing the full billing lifecycle, from charge review and claim submission to denial management, payment posting, and A/R follow-up. Key Responsibilities:
• Review and scrub charges for accuracy and coding compliance
• Submit claims through TriZetto and payer portals
• Manage rejections, denials, appeals, and follow-ups
• Apply accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Post ERA/EOB payments and reconcile reimbursements
• Monitor A/R aging and identify underpayments
• Generate billing and A/R reports in eClinicalWorks
Required Qualifications:
• 2-5+ years medical billing and coding experience
• Hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (required)
• Hands-on experience with TriZetto (required)
• Strong knowledge of claims workflows and denial management
• Experience with payment posting and A/R follow-up
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
Nice to Have Qualifications:
• CPC, CCS, or equivalent coding certification
• Experience with RPM, CCM, BHI, or chronic care billing
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
• Experience supporting multi-provider or multi-entity practices
• Strong Excel or reporting skills

• This is a part-time, open to full-time, opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $30.00
