About the position At SanMar, the work you do makes a difference. The Production Planner is responsible for managing and executing inventory depth targets for specific product categories. Responsibilities • Accurately analyze and forecast style, color and size demand for specific product categories. • Manage monthly projections and adjustments. • Manage and develop orders to support target depth of inventory and flow plans • Review website to ensure product descriptions and other information is accurately presented. • Proactively react to changes in business and work with internal/external partners to replenish inventory as quickly as possible. • Partner with Production Planning Assistant to monitor orders and to expedite as needed. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Comply with all policies and standards. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree Preferred • 4-6 years of applicable work experience • Proficient with Microsoft Excel • Detail oriented individual with strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills • Ability to make independent decisions with little supervision • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality • Responsive to staff needs including professionalism, respect, and consideration of others • Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment • Be able to work under pressure within a time frame Benefits • Salary Range: You`ll earn between $80,170 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience. • Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary. • Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start.
