Unanet is a fast-growing company seeking a results-oriented Business Development Representative to join their high-performing Sales Team. The role involves cold-calling and emailing prospects, educating the market on the company's solutions, and generating sales opportunities with new customers. Responsibilities Generate pipeline through proactive outreach to prospects via cold calling and strategic email campaigning in support of Proposal AI Identify customer needs and requirements Promote and position the value of our solution offerings Define and schedule next steps with prospects, typically a discovery call with an Account Executive Seamlessly transfer sales opportunities to a designated Account Executive Research, qualify and track leads and related sales activities in Salesforce Develop relationships internally and sharpen your sales skill set Share your knowledge with your fellow Business Development Representatives Skills You're interested in starting a career in sales and excited to learn, grow, and build new skills You bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to try, learn, and improve each day You're open to feedback and coaching and see it as an opportunity to get better, not as criticism You enjoy working as part of a team, supporting others, and celebrating shared wins You communicate clearly and professionally and are comfortable talking with new people You're curious, personable, and bring empathy and awareness to conversations, helping you build trust and rapport Experience utilizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) Bachelor's degree Benefits Employee equity Commissions subject to commissions plans and policies Participate in Unanet's employee benefits plans and programs Company Overview Unanet is a software company that provides ERP and CRM solutions for architecture, government contractors, and engineering firms.
