We are a growing media company looking to bring on a reliable video editor to support our expanding production team. This role will focus on editing podcast and studio video content for a variety of formats, from short-form social clips to long-form episodes.
At the moment, the weekly hours may fluctuate depending on production schedules, but there will be consistent work available and the role has clear potential to grow as our content output continues to expand.
What You'll Be Editing
-Short-form social content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style clips)
-Mid-length video segments cut from long-form episodes (roughly 15–20 minutes)
-Long-form studio episodes filmed with 3–4 camera setups
-Occasional collaboration on polishing or assembling full episode edits
Responsibilities
-Edit engaging short-form clips optimized for social platforms (content is already selected)
-Cut longer podcast/video episodes into smaller segments
Assist with editing and assembling multi-camera studio recordings
-Maintain consistent pacing, visual style, and branding across our content
-Collaborate with our production team to meet weekly publishing schedules
About the Team
-You’ll be working with a team of producers who primarily come from an audio production background, though some have video experience. We’re looking for someone who can become our go-to video production editor and help elevate the visual side of our content.
What We're Looking For
-Strong experience editing social media video and long-form content
-Comfort working with multi-camera footage
-Ability to deliver clean, engaging edits on a consistent schedule
-Good communication and reliability when collaborating remotely
-Interest in growing with a media company that is expanding its video output
Nice to Have
-Experience editing podcasts or interview-style content
-Familiarity with social media pacing
-Ability to suggest creative improvements to video workflow or format
-Familiarity with Descript
