Westinghouse Electric Company is committed to providing clean energy solutions. As a System Architect Engineer, you will support the design and implementation of non-safety control systems while collaborating with engineers across various disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Configuration and administration of DCS systems and test equipment. This includes preparing systems for testing and customer release
- Help develop drawings, documents and specifications as part of the design process
- Provide technical support to other teams and customers with support contracts
- Communicate with vendors to support procurement and issue resolution
- Install software and patches at customer sites observing field change packages
- Provide site support during commissioning and startup distributed control systems and related support equipment
- Develop standard control system architectures including traditional and hyperconverged using virtualization technology (Microsoft Hyper-V)
Skills
- 0+ years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in computer, electrical, or mechanical engineering
- 0+ years of experience with IT infrastructure including VMware (vSphere, vCenter, vSan), Hyper-V (including S2D) and Cisco network products
- 0+ years of experience with Python, GIT, and PowerShell
- Hands-on experience in an industrial environment
