Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Engineer to join our Technology Financial Planning team, where you will play a key role in driving our insurance business transformation. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will work across the organization to provide a seamless experience to the business, maintaining the highest standards of solution delivery and availability. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and enhance solutions utilizing 3rd party financial planning systems and in-house systems to satisfy business requirements for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to source data, create integrations, and capture scope for scalable and resilient distributed systems Lead design sessions and code reviews to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization Mentor other engineers, share best practices, and improve processes within and across teams Utilize programming languages like Python, Java, and database types like SQL, NoSQL, and OLAP to extract, load, transform, and analyze financial data Requirements: 20+ years of experience working in IT or tech, with 15+ years of finance systems experience and 10+ years of engineering experience with financial planning systems Extensive hands-on experience with implementations and support of financial planning systems, such as Oracle EPM, Anaplan, Board, or Hyperion Strong understanding of accounting processes, management reporting philosophies, and data tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, and PowerBI Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience What We Offer: Competitive salary range: $130,000 - $260,000 per year Comprehensive benefits package, including premier medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, and 401(k) plan Opportunities for career growth and professional development in a financially stable and rewarding workplace A dynamic and inclusive work environment with a team of dedicated and hard-working associates Ready to Apply?
