Job Summary: As a Senior Operations Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading and controlling the lifecycle of complex cross-functional projects, developing and delivering the next generation of sortation and distribution solutions. You'll partner with internal clients and stakeholders to ensure timely handovers, drive technical expertise, and simplify processes to improve efficiency and results. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage complex cross-functional projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery Partner with internal teams, stakeholders, and external companies to set project priorities, milestones, and schedules Provide technical expertise to internal clients and stakeholders, ensuring high-quality solutions and results Lead and coordinate execution efforts, delivering structures and automated device designs that meet established requirements and guidelines Develop and implement process improvements, eliminating bottlenecks and solving complex technical issues Effectively communicate project status, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to management and stakeholders Mentor and develop other Amazon Operations Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field 3+ years of experience as a project engineer, process engineer, project manager, manufacturing engineer, or related occupation 2+ years of experience managing the lifecycle of large, complex cross-functional projects, implementing automated systems and/or integrated systems Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related STEM field Operations Management/Distribution Center experience with direct control or responsibility for material handling, automation, or other technical projects Experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing Experience with Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet applications Proven technical leadership for large-scale commercial engineering projects or programs What We Offer: Competitive salary of $30/hour Remote work opportunity with flexibility to work from home Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans 401(k) plan with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional growth and development We Want to Hear From You!
