Our client, an A+ rated A.M. Best Commercial Insurance Company, is seeking to add (2) Senior Commercial Auto / Trucking Claims Specialists to their remote team due to continued growth! This individual will be responsible for managing complex Commercial Auto Bodily Injury claims, including litigated and non-litigated files, with an emphasis on high severity exposures and complex liability investigations. This role requires strong BI expertise, coverage evaluation, and the ability to drive claims through resolution across multiple jurisdictions. This is a fully remote position, and qualified candidates must possess a Bachelors Degree!
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex Commercial Auto and Trucking Bodily Injury claims from inception through settlement and closure.
• Analyze liability, assess damages and injury severity, and manage supporting documentation including police reports, medical records, recorded statements, demand packages, and legal filings.
• Establish timely and appropriate reserves based on investigation findings and anticipated exposure.
• Collaborate with defense counsel, internal leadership, vendors, and other stakeholders to develop resolution strategies.
• Conduct thorough coverage analysis and draft detailed coverage/position letters when applicable.
• Maintain consistent communication with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and clients throughout the claims lifecycle.
Requirements:
• 5 – 10+ years of Commercial Auto Bodily Injury claims handling experience.
• Active Adjuster’s License required.
• Proven ability to evaluate liability, comparative negligence, injury causation, and damages in complex fact patterns.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write clear, thorough claim documentation and reports.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Base salary: $90,000 – $125,000, depending on experience plus lucrative bonus
