Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team at American Express. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our travel-related products and services. This is a full-time, remote opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $25/hour. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineers on Client Acceptance Testing and Quality Assurance (QA) approaches and processes Develop and execute test scripts, aid in planning of test procedures, and set up and maintain test data and conditions Log results, update streams of services while testing, and identify new opportunities to drive improvement Work closely with Product Owners, Vendors, American Express Engineers, and Technical Teams to coordinate E2E testing Ensure that quality standards and quality processes are being followed in the development of software Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience Experience with Agile, Scrum at scale (SAFe), and other iterative application development techniques Proficiency with JIRA, or similar development and defect tracking applications Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours with occasional overtime on a case-by-case basis Knowledge and experience with at least one coding language Preferred Qualifications: Automation frameworks and tools Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) environments What We Offer: Competitive salary of $25/hour Remote work opportunity Collaborative and dynamic work environment Opportunity to work with a leading brand in the industry Take the Next Step Are you ready for this challenge?
