As a Network Development Engineer in the AWS Enterprise Networking Group, you'll play a critical role in enabling the connectivity needs of thousands of Amazon employees and AWS data center corporate network clients worldwide. About the Role: We're seeking a highly experienced Network Development Engineer to join our team of seasoned professionals. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for: Providing functional support for multi-vendor data network solutions to support Amazon's growth worldwide Monitoring and maintaining performance and capacity for Amazon Enterprise network to ensure maximum efficiency and operational uptime Collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams for ongoing design efforts and system maintenance Designing networking solutions for various Amazon locations Participating in operational excellence by continuously improving and automating networking and operations processes Requirements: 2+ years of experience with web routing protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) 2+ years of experience with automation scripting using Python, Perl, Shell, and/or other languages 2+ years of experience working with protocols and technologies like STP, PVST, First Hop Redundancy Protocols, EtherChannel, QoS, NTP, 802.1x, and NetFlow 2+ years of experience working with IPSec/Remote Access VPN technologies, Firewalls (ASA), Wireless (802.11x), and IT security best practices Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automation via Ansible/Python and/or other automation tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills Cisco CCNA/CCNP and Juniper JNCIS/JNCIP certifications are a plus About Amazon: Amazon is a multinational technology and e-commerce company based in Seattle, Washington, USA.
