Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ForeFront Power is a leading developer of commercial and industrial-scale solar energy and battery storage projects. The Illinois Project Coordinator will manage day-to-day activities for solar photovoltaic projects, including contract management, accounting, and administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Create purchase orders and work orders for subcontractors and provide accounts payable-related support as needed
- Manage document control for projects including reports, plans, specifications, requests for information, and submittals
- Coordinate and support the interrelated activities of the Sales, Project Finance, Legal, Project Development, Design and Engineering, and Asset Management
- Utilize the company’s designated accounting platform to manage project accounting and cost control
- Submit and manage utility interconnection pre-applications and application and coordinate financial security obligations
- Assist with mailers to landowners in various states with ongoing community solar and battery storage land campaigns
- Generate marketing list targets for IL BTM and FTM solar and storage opportunities
Skills
- Entry-level experience
- Basic knowledge and experience in the renewable energy industry; solar PV project development and/or construction preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
- Capability to document and report project status accurately
- Motivated self-starter, good team player and ability to lead by example
- Proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint applications
- Preference will be given to candidates who meet the definition of an Equity Eligible Person (EEP) under the Climate Equitable Jobs Act statue in Illinois and are listed on the Energy Workforce Equity Portal database
