Looking for an experienced mobile app developer to help bring an existing internal web application to mobile.
The current application is built with Next.js and Supabase, hosted on Vercel, and used by a small internal team. The platform aggregates and processes data from several external APIs and scheduled background jobs, storing and serving that data through Supabase.
The web app already supports responsive and mobile‑optimized layouts, including breakpoint-based design and UI patterns tailored for mobile devices. However, we’re now looking to build a native or hybrid mobile app so the team can fully utilize the platform on mobile.
I’m the developer who built the web application but mobile development is not my area of expertise, so I’m looking for someone who can help translate the existing functionality into a solid mobile experience.
Key details:
Existing stack: Next.js, Supabase, Vercel
Authentication via SSO
Data ingestion through external APIs and scheduled jobs
Small internal user base
Mobile-friendly UI already implemented on the web
Ideally looking for someone who can:
Recommend the best approach (React Native, Expo, Flutter, etc.)
Reuse as much of the existing architecture as possible
Help design a smooth mobile-first experience
