**Key Responsibilities**
* Handle high-volume phone calls from patients and clients, providing empathetic and personalized support to resolve complex issues
* Coordinate and process new patient requests and reorders, including verifying and renewing benefits
* Assist patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system
* Collect and process copay amounts, obtain approvals, and collaborate with insurance agencies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with debt claims or clinical issues
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, insurance agencies, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and support
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and company policies to provide accurate and informed support
**Essential Qualifications**
* One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving high-volume complex customer needs via telephone
* One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
* One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and preference
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, insurance agencies, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple calls and requests simultaneously
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Six months of experience resolving high-volume complex customer needs via telephone
