**Responsibilities**
As a Daytime Call Taker at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking our services. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Answering, screening, and directing calls for the entire company
* Distinguishing the need for emergency transportation and pre-arranging transport for facilities while determining the level of care needed for patients
* Arranging specialty and critical care transportation
* Providing information and assistance for customer service inquiries as needed
* Communicating with multiple departments and EMS personnel
* Providing supportive information to customers to assist them in arranging appropriate transport
* Developing effective solutions for customer service issues
* Directing calls to the Flight desk as appropriate
* Performing other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
* Pleasant, professional phone manner
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
* Typing skills of 30 wpm or better
* Ability to excel in a high-stress environment
* Adaptability to frequently changing policies
* Ability to learn policies and procedures for facilities and recognize when to apply them
* Medical background a plus
* EMD certification will be required within 1 year of employment
