As the Cybersecurity Coordinator, you will support project and technical teams by managing schedules, documentation, and communication.
Job Description
The Cybersecurity Coordinator supports project and technical teams by managing schedules, documentation, and communication. This role ensures smooth execution of initiatives and alignment across stakeholders. This role is a full-time, contract and remote.
What You’ll Do
- Track project milestones and deliverables
- Maintain documentation and reports
- Facilitate communication between technical and business teams
- Support resource allocation and scheduling
- Monitor risks and escalate issues as needed
- Support cybersecurity superintendents assigned to each ship, maintaining regular communication with onboard technical teams
- Support cyber risk management efforts
- Collaborate with Marine Cyber Operations & Compliance teams to facilitate cybersecurity assessments and remediation
- Coordinate ship visits and inspections to verify adherence to cybersecurity regulations and company policies
- Develop vessel-specific Cyber SOPs using the GIS Captain’s Dashboard to monitor and investigate cyber events
- Support IT/OT/ET asset inventory initiatives using GET-provided technologies
What You'll Need
Required:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, MS Project)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments
Preferred:
- Experience in cybersecurity or maritime operations
- Familiarity with IT/OT/ET systems
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
- Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person.
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
