As a key contributor, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our database infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity. What you'll do: Design and architect robust database solutions. Install, upgrade, configure, tune, and troubleshoot MySQL and related tools. Manage database schema and support migration activities. Conduct routine database maintenance and oversee overnight operations. Implement high availability and failover automation. Set up continuous integration environments. Customize data sharing and database automation solutions. Oversee backup management and recovery procedures (on-premise and cloud). Perform periodic health checks and performance audits. Deploy proactive performance monitoring and fault management alerting systems. Develop and manage source code for database-related scripts. Support ad-hoc projects and operational tasks. What you'll bring: Profound experience with AWS. Extensive expertise in MySQL. Knowledge of Aurora is a plus. This is a fully remote, full-time (W2) opportunity.
