Clinical Operations Associate

As an Operations Associate on the Clinical Enablement team, you?ll play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient patient-provider assignments, managing compliance-related tasks, and supporting cross-functional enrollment processes. This is a dynamic, generalist role suited to individuals with strong organizational and problem-solving skills who thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments. Flexibility and willingness to provide additional support across various projects are essential as the team grows rapidly.

Responsibilities

Provider Panel Management
? Manage patient assignments to maintain balanced provider panel sizes and optimize care capacity.
? Assist in panel rebalancing, collaborating with the team to adjust assignments based on provider availability and patient needs.

Compliance Support
? Ensure full compliance with prescription authority and manage application submissions in states where vendor support is unavailable.
? Create, maintain, and update collaborative agreements between MDs and NPs.
? Track and input RN licenses, Medicare/Medicaid enrollments, and manage revalidation processes.
? Support credentialing deployments to ensure providers are set up for patient care and billing compliance.

Enrollment and FMA Support
? Assist with Final Medical Approval (FMA) processes, ensuring timely patient onboarding.
? Serve as a point of contact for Enrollment and cross-functional partners, fielding queries and streamlining communication.
? Help the Enrollment team manage incoming requests and issues, assisting in the coordination of smoother operations.

Flexible Team Support
? Provide additional support as needed across various operational functions, helping the team adapt to new challenges and demands as Virta scales.

90 Day Plan

Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:
? Gain a thorough understanding of Virta?s operational workflows for panel management, compliance, and enrollment.
? Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams in Enrollment, Credentialing, and Compliance.
? Begin identifying opportunities for workflow improvements and contribute to process optimization efforts.

Must-Haves
? 2+ years of experience in operations or generalist roles within healthcare or similar fields.
? Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
? Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
? Adaptability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Nice-to-Haves
? Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements or provider management tools (not required).
? Experience supporting operational workflows in complex, regulated environments.
