Role : AWS cloud engineer Location : Remote Job type : w2 contract Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services and cloud architecture, with a proven track record of implementing and managing cloud-based solutions. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure • Develop and optimize cloud-native applications using AWS services • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards • Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK • Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and costs • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in cloud environments • Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines • Stay current with the latest AWS services and best practices • Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing Requirements: • 7-10 years of experience required • 3-5 years of experience working with AWS services • Strong understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, etc.) • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform) • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices • Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies • Experience with prompt engineering and applied AI (including agentic AI) to automate workflows and improve engineering efficiency in cloud environments. • Understanding of monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Dynatrace) • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate) preferred Preferred Skills: • Knowledge of server and database technologies • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools • Experience with serverless services and architecture • Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts • Experience with performance tuning and optimization in cloud environments
