Rue Gilt Groupe is a premier off-price e-commerce portfolio company seeking a Short-Term Associate Copywriter for their marketing team. The role involves crafting compelling narratives and engaging social content across various platforms to drive member engagement and support business goals.
Responsibilities
- Write and publish compelling captions for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest, as well as Instagram reels and stories
- Create social content including long-form blogs and more
- Develop on-brand copy that not only resonates with our audience but also achieves KPIs and supports business goals
- Write performance-driven push notifications, subject lines, and marketing email copy as needed, maintaining our unique brand voice
- Schedule social content through our marketing platform
- Help with content updates as needed, potentially outside normal business hours
- Faithfully maintain the Rue La La and Gilt voice standards
- Follow the latest trends in the marketing and social media world
- Stay up to date on pop culture moments and make sure they are covered in real-time, when necessary
Skills
- BA/BS in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Ability to write copy that is both succinct and informative that champions for our brand voice
- Knowledge of social media best practices
- A keen understanding of the social landscape and the desire to stay on top of best practices and emerging social media trends
- Self-starting, with the ability to both work collaboratively and independently as needed
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and make quick turnarounds
- Experience with Social Media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest)
- Experience with Reels/ Stories
- Experience with Blogs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Proficiency in Google Drive/ Google slides/ Google Docs/ Google sheets
- Proficiency in Excel/ Word
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
