They are seeking a Cost Estimator to join their team in Dallas, where the role involves providing detailed cost estimates for various construction projects and collaborating effectively with clients and team members. Responsibilities Provide detailed quantity take-off and preliminary pricing for a variety of construction project types Review and interpret construction drawings to understand the overall project scope Support development of comprehensive cost estimates/models communicating the client’s project and strategic goals Facilitate document control, file management, and project collaboration Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures Actively research, solicit and develop sources/vendors to compile and maintain the accuracy of cost information Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals Skills 1 -3 years of cost estimating experience in vertical construction/engineering projects Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications) Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Prior institutional or public works project experience Proficient user of On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar quantity takeoff software A bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or architecture, or 2 years of applicable construction trade experience in lieu of a degree Benefits Hybrid flexibility depending on position.
