Business Development Representative

Mycroft is an AI-native cybersecurity and compliance platform redefining how modern businesses stay secure. The Business Development Representative will focus on creating a qualified pipeline for the sales team through outbound prospecting and collaboration with various teams. Responsibilities Own outbound across email, LinkedIn, and calls to generate qualified demos Research accounts and tailor messaging to security, compliance, and risk pain points Represent Mycroft alongside the sales team at conferences and events, helping drive awareness, start conversations, and generate qualified opportunities Book and qualify demos that meet ICP and qualification standards Maintain clean CRM data and accurate activity tracking Test and iterate on outbound sequences, value props, and call approaches Share learnings with Sales Leadership and Marketing to improve conversion rates Partner with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and strong deal context Work cross-functionally with Marketing on campaigns and targeting Help shape outbound playbooks, talk tracks, and qualification frameworks as we scale Skills 0–2+ years in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role B2B SaaS experience is a plus, but not required You are competitive, resilient, and comfortable hearing 'no' You take ownership of your number and your learning curve Clear, confident, and concise — especially in writing Able to simplify complex topics into compelling conversations You want to understand how businesses buy, not just follow a script You actively seek feedback and improve quickly You're comfortable with ambiguity and fast change You'd rather figure it out than wait for instructions Benefits Real Impact : Your work directly drives company growth Career Path : Clear progression into AE or revenue leadership Learning Curve : Learn cybersecurity, compliance, and enterprise sales fast Ownership : Early-stage role with real influence on how sales is build Company Overview Mycroft is the Agentic AI Security and Compliance Officer, it's your CISO, GRC, and IT Ops rolled into one.
