We are currently seeking a Virtual Design Coordinator 2 in our Las Vegas, NV, Reno, NV or Scottsdale, AZ office. The Virtual Design Coordinator 2 will be responsible for overseeing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects for all disciplines and act as a main point of contact for BIM related questions and concerns for the project team. This position will be expected to work within the project's monetary budget as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations. Principal Responsibilities • Review effectiveness and validate current standards and procedures • Lead and attend project meetings with clients and consultants, including BIM project kickoff meetings • Identify and lead team specific training and education needs for standards and BIM/Virtual Design tools • Work to standardize workflows and practices between offices and teams • Communicate with the project manager to determine model setup configuration and understand project scope requirements • Manage project folder organization, file sharing, and file archival between IMEG disciplines and all external partners • Provide team specific support for Virtual Design software/programs, escalating as needed • Review working models and PDF deliverables for compliance with modeling and documentation standards • Complete model maintenance as necessary applying best practices and standards • Run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and participate in the BIM coordination process • Follow established standards for modeling and production of drawings and are of quality acceptable to the company • Coordinate models and workflow between members of the design team Required Skills/Abilities • Strong Revit knowledge with emphasis on project setup and model management • Ability to troubleshoot Revit/design software issues • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical plans and models preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues and clients • Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook • High level of professionalism Education and Experience • Associate degree or certificate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred • 4 years of experience minimum, 5 preferred, or equivalent • Revit experience required Physical Requirements • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times • Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds • Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms and grasp or pull • Will have limited exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noises Locations available: Las Vegas, NV Reno, NV Scottsdale, AZ Salary Range $68,000 - $94,000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
