Sprint Coordinator (Scrum Master)

About the position Porch Software is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate and coordinate processes within the organization, ensuring effective cross-team collaboration and high-quality solution delivery. The role involves coaching and mentoring team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring that project objectives are consistently met. Responsibilities • Facilitate team events such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospectives. • Facilitate and coordinate delivery processes within the company. • Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality products. • Work with stakeholders to prioritize the product backlog. • Identify, troubleshoot, and remove obstacles that hinder the team's progress. • Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions. • Communicate sprint status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. • Deploy team environments, troubleshoot deployment failures, and escalate issues to the Tech Lead as necessary. • Track story deployments and update the Jira board to reflect current statuses. • Track KPIs and other metrics to help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time. • Protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions. • Coach team members and stakeholders in Agile frameworks and practices. • Guide development teams to become self-organized. Requirements • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification. • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master. • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies. • Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira or Trello.
