Software Engineer I, QA

They are seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to ensure product quality within the software lifecycle and collaborate with developers in a fast-paced industry. Responsibilities Execute manual and automated test cases against a full stack software Document and report software defects within the software lifecycle in Jira Participate in an agile team sprint planning/stand ups Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and reproduce issues Assist in maintaining a growing test repository of manual and automated scripts within Playwright framework Continuous contribution to QA standards and testing processes Skills Bachelors degree in computer science or related field/equivalent education 0-2 years experience in software qa/testing (internships included) General understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies and Agile processes Basic understanding of coding languages (preferred java script) Familiarity with Jira ticketing and Git Strong attention to detail and problem solving Strong communication skills U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance Exposure to automation tooling (playwright/cypress/selenium) Experience with API tooling Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (github actions/ jenkins, etc.) Motivated to learn and grow within QA industry Team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Ability to manage time and tasks effectively in a fast paced environment Flexible mindset Benefits Health Dental Vision HRA/HSA options PTO and paid holidays 401K Parental Leave Company Overview True Anomaly is builds space security and resilience at the intersection of spacecraft, software, and autonomy.
