Social Media Content Producer

Remote, USA Full-time
Scrolls stop here. Stories start with you. At Rankings, we’re on a mission to reinvent law firm social media, because let’s be real, most of it looks the same. It’s time to break the mold. We’re looking for a Social Media Content Producer who thrives on creativity, speed, and storytelling that doesn’t just fill a feed but makes people feel something. You’ll be the creative force behind short-form video and motion content across our clients’ social channels, especially LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. If you love experimenting with hooks, edits, and motion graphics that stop the scroll and spark engagement, this role is your stage. Experience with graphic design or illustration is a big plus — bringing extra visual flair and depth to your storytelling. You’ll collaborate with a team that values bold ideas and fresh perspectives, shaping content that audiences actually want to comment on, share with friends, and save for later. Your work won’t just fill a feed; it will spark connection, keep law firms top of mind, and matter when people need them most. Responsibilities • Hook-Driven Content Creation: Develop creative concepts and compelling hooks that drive engagement within the first few seconds. • Editing and Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished short-form content using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. • Graphic Design & Photography: Create visually compelling graphics, thumbnails, and promotional materials; capture and edit still imagery (both candid and staged) to complement video content and enhance brand storytelling as needed. • Copywriting: Write engaging, on-brand captions, headlines, and social-first copy that sparks interest and encourages action. • Motion Graphics: Design and animate branded assets and transitions using After Effects or equivalent software. • Platform Optimization: Format and tailor content for TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts with platform-specific best practices. • Trendspotting: Monitor social media and legal marketing trends to pitch timely and relevant ideas. • Content Calendar Execution: Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and maintain a regular publishing cadence. • Performance Feedback: Use engagement analytics to iterate and improve future content. Requirements • 2–4 years of experience producing short-form video content professionally. • Strong portfolio showcasing hook-driven video editing, motion graphics work, and social-first creative work. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator). • Proficiency in social media management platforms such as Buffer, Agorapulse, Hootsuite, or similar • Experience with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business Center, and YouTube Studio • Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration • Working knowledge of AI tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and comparable emerging technologies • Familiarity with social media trends, meme culture, and visual storytelling. • Excellent communication, time management, and creative thinking skills. • Self-starter comfortable working in a remote environment. Nice to have • Familiarity with scheduling and publishing tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite, native platform schedulers). • Understanding of social media KPIs and analytics to inform content performance decisions. • Legal industry knowledge is a plus, but not required Benefits • Starting Salary $65k, with final compensation aligned to your experience and expertise. • Work remotely from home • Unlimited PTO - Plus 1 Wellness Day per Month • 3% Match SIMPLE IRA • 100% Health Insurance (including fully employer-funded coverage) Apply tot his job
