As a Senior Technician, you will play a vital role in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests through your technical expertise and attention to detail. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in technical theater and a passion for bringing magic to life on stage. Join our team and help us continue to deliver world-class performances at the Walt Disney Theater. Oversee and manage all technical aspects of performances at the Walt Disney Theater. Work closely with production teams, stage managers, and other technicians to ensure smooth and seamless execution of performances. Maintain and operate all technical equipment, including lighting, sound, and special effects. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to performances. Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure a high level of technical proficiency within the team. Collaborate with designers and directors to bring their creative vision to life on stage. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve the technical capabilities of the theater. Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a safe work environment for all employees and performers. Participate in planning and executing load-ins, load-outs, and other production-related tasks. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including performers, production teams, and management, to ensure a successful and memorable experience for guests.
