Senior Staff Engineer, ServiceNow (ITSM, Service Portal, SPM)

REQUIREMENTS: Total experience 10+ years Strong working experience in technical specification and implementation of the ServiceNow with Service Portal, ITSM Module and ServiceNow SPM Experience in either of other modules i.e. . ITOM or ITAM, HAM Pro, SAM pro or GRC or SPM or HRSD and ITIL knowledge Hands-on experience in ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems. Strong understanding of ITIL principles Strong Understanding of business needs and the needs to standardize processes and accommodate into the design. Develops the technical solutions, implements them and performs the component Integration Tests. Configure ServiceNow using scripting (UI Policies/Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Jelly scripting, Angular JS) Ability to explore and grasp new technologies. Proficient in communicating and driving technology solutions that support business objectives Ability to work effectively and manage partnerships with all areas and members of the business as well as all levels of the organization. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and prioritization skills . Mentoring your team members in projects and helping them keep up with new technologies. RESPONSIBILITIES: Writing and reviewing great quality configuration. Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
