About the Senior Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin) role… Our Java/Kotlin teams work with our largest product – the Channel Manager – which is a large-scale, highly transactional distribution platform for hotels. We are heavily invested in cloud technologies and using asynchronous, reactive, and microservice architectures. What you’ll do… Refine and deliver product requirements with minimum support Work with a cross-functional distributed team in an agile methodology Participate in release and sprint planning Write clean, well-organised code, while making appropriate trade-offs between performance, robustness, extensibility Support production systems on a shared roster basis Work closely with other developers, pair-programming, reviewing pull requests, and contributing incremental improvements to code and coding practices.
