Senior Professional Services Consultant, Active US Security Clearance

Job Description: • Build and implement new architectures leveraging our security products and services, and migrate customers from legacy hardware onto Palo Alto Networks platforms. • Create custom security policies and application signatures for unique client environments. • Implement network segment controls in accordance with established frameworks, such as NIST and RMF. • Troubleshoot integration issues, perform debug analysis, and mitigate threat events. • Maintain implemented solutions and provide mentorship on code upgrades, platform changes, and new technology developments. • Validate and implement proof of concepts (POCs) in lab environments. • Provide technical implementation and strategy support, communicating effectively from engineering teams to C-suite executives. • Work with our Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to troubleshoot and diagnose complex cases as escalations arise. Requirements: • 5+ years of hands-on experience with network and security solutions and technologies • 3+ years of experience in maintaining security solutions in large-scale production environments • Must have expertise deploying or operating two or more of the following: Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW), VM Series (AWS and/or Azure), Prisma Access / Prisma Access Browser • Strong skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) routing and TCP/IP networking • Comfortable implementing OSPF, IPSec VPN, and NAT • Experience with classified transport networks and cloud providers, including AWS, GCP, or Azure • Strong understanding of VM/Public Cloud concepts • Experience with IDS/IPS solutions and technologies • Detailed technical experience in installation, configuration, and operation of high-end firewall appliances, including NGFW policy optimization, PAN-OS installation, and High Availability (HA) troubleshooting • Proficient in designing, implementing and troubleshooting network issues across LAN, CAN, and WAN. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent education/training/experience • Ability to travel up to 25% annually for customer engagements, site visits, or project support.
