Senior HR Generalist - Not a Remote Position

Position Summary: The Senior HR Generalist is a key member of the HR team, with 5+ years of general HR experience, this role will engage in various human resources functions, which include but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, benefits administration, HR policy development, and HRIS operations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices. Responsibilities • Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs. • Participate in employee relations issues including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans. • Partner with department leaders to support workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning. • Assist in the recruitment process for key roles: creating job descriptions, interviewing candidates, and ensuring a seamless onboarding process. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. • Participate in performance management programs. • Support compensation and benefits administration, including annual open enrollment, vendor coordination, and employee communications. • Identify process improvements to enhance HR service delivery and assist with implementing required changes. • Participate in HR projects such as policy updates, employee engagement surveys and training development. • Maintain accurate HRIS data and generate reports for analysis and decision-making. • Provide HR analytical data support. Other responsibilities as needed. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience; at least 2 years in a generalist or business partner capacity. • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment. • Experience with HRIS systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
