Job Summary: The Senior Network Security Engineer will provide architectural expertise and technical leadership in the planning, designing, and implementing and support of various information technology solutions and cybersecurity hardware and software platforms. The role’s primary responsibility is designing and implementing complex, secure networks on a project basis that revolves around the business and technology needs of the customer. Job Duties & Responsibilities: • Provide best in class customer service to Logically’s customer base • Adhere to company values while following best practices and operational procedures • Manage the status of open tickets/projects and complete technical and operational tasks to address project deliverables efficiently and accurately • Contribute to developing the cybersecurity engineering program, delivering/designing secure systems, and deploying intricate customer projects • Operate and support security infrastructure focusing on network security best practices • Responsible for implementing appropriate IT security procedures, configuring security software, and implementing security administration functions across multiple platforms • Collaborate with a variety of departments to ensure customer service level agreements (SLA’s) are met • Provide escalated network and firewall support to customers • Deploy and manage solutions to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, contractual, and regulatory requirements • Build and maintain effective relationships with peers, internal business partners, and customers • Provide operational support, engineering, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting for Logically’s network security infrastructure • Communicate with both internal and external contacts at a variety of structural levels to diagnose and resolve problems for both technical and non-technical audiences • Conduct network traffic analysis, cryptography, encryption and configuration of authentication, authorization, and directory services • Identify and propose additional integration and value opportunities • Provide accurate, complete, and timely written documentation for all project phases • Mentor a team of lower-level technology professionals Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred • 5-8 years of network and information security-related technology experience • Professionally certified with CISSP, Security+, CCNA, etc. • Preferred experience configuring firewall, wireless, and switching products such as Fortinet, SonicWall, Extreme Networks, Palo Alto, Cisco, etc. • Understanding of network design and troubleshooting techniques • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and various levels of management both verbally and in written form • Capacity to understand and interpret network security strategies that improve efficiencies • Ability to use organizational and analytical skills to prioritize multiple projects at once • Experience leading a small team of entry-mid level technical staff • Demonstrated experience deploying security solutions including firewalls Logically provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, gender identity, sexual orientation, and other protected classes.
