This role offers the chance to work on impactful projects that shape pricing strategies and drive business performance. About the Role You will play a key role in developing, enhancing, and maintaining pricing models for various lines of business. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Underwriting and IT. You will ensure pricing methodologies align with actuarial standards and company policies, and contribute to building reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for leadership. Key Responsibilities • Design, improve, and maintain pricing models for direct lines of business. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure models function effectively and data flows seamlessly. • Develop reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making. • Apply actuarial standards and best practices to pricing processes. • Support initiatives that enhance efficiency and leverage data for business insights. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. • Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to the company's headquarters. • Completion of at least 2 Casualty Actuarial Society exams and active pursuit of actuarial credentials. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial lines pricing within an insurance company or rating bureau. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Experience with SQL, VBA, Power BI, and programming languages such as Python or R. • Strong analytical, programming, and multitasking skills. • Excellent communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications • Hands-on experience building and maintaining pricing models. • Familiarity with database creation and management. • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
