In this role, you will research, create, and develop innovative manufacturing technologies that greatly enhance system performance and operational efficiencies. Your expertise will contribute to substantial developments in automation within the food industry and beyond. You'll collaborate with various teams to produce roadmaps for technology advancements, ensuring their alignment with business goals while fostering external partnerships for innovation. Responsibilities • Lead the development and implementation of breakthrough technologies with a focus on various robotics and digital tools. • Research and adapt new technologies to enhance automation capabilities. • Analyze operational data to discover new automation opportunities. • Develop strategic roadmaps to deliver significant technological advancements. • Provide technical support for troubleshooting control systems. • Identify and evaluate cost-effective technology opportunities for development. • Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D, and IT to align on project initiatives. • Engage with equipment vendors, engineering consultants, and contractors. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience in electrical/control system design. • Minimum 5 years in Consumer Products with experience in FDA or USDA regulated environments. • Experience in both tactical and strategic project leadership. • Demonstrated success in the commercialization of new automation technologies. • Proven experience in building and maintaining external partnerships.
