Responsibilities Legal Research Assistance Assistance for preparing and representing clients in a variety of legal matters that include health insurance, housing, employee benefits, life planning, and public benefits Interviewing and counseling clients Data Entry/Management Student & Community Engagement Special Projects Skills J.D. from a Counsel-accredited law school is required The applicant must be a Class of 2025 graduate from a Counsel-accredited law school and have an interest in working in a law school clinic setting Candidates must be able to exercise independent judgment Candidates must be able to responsibly manage multiple projects Candidates must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing Candidates must be able to complete assignments with minimal supervision Applicants are required to submit (1) a letter of interest describing the candidate's interest in the fellowship position, (2) a resume, (3) a law school transcript, and (4) the names and contact information of three individuals prepared to provide professional references Company Overview A premier research university serving a diverse body of motivated students in vibrant Midtown, the cultural center of Detroit.
