[Remote] Sr Title Examiner - Texas

Anywhere Real Estate Inc. is a global provider of real estate services, and they are seeking a highly skilled Senior Title Examiner with extensive title examination experience. The role involves conducting thorough title searches, reviewing title documents, and preparing commitments while adhering to regulatory standards. Responsibilities • Conduct thorough searches of public records and complete examinations to assess property status of title, adhering to regulatory standards and Underwriter policies • Review documents affecting title to property, such as mortgages, deeds, probate records, and trust agreements • Read and interpret real estate documents, legal proceedings, maps, and surveys • Assemble Title Commitments for issuance of Final Title Policies • Communicate effectively with Underwriters, Title Officers, Escrow Officers, and Escrow Processing Teams • Mentor junior examiners on various title issues Skills • 5 years of title examination experience, including at least 1–2 years of Texas experience • Residential Lot/Block examination experience required, with Acreage (metes and bounds) experience preferred • Proficient in the use of Title Data (TIMS), Deed Plotter, and have experience with County Government websites • Good research and investigation skills; understanding of legal terms and awareness of new legislation affecting real property • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities with strong organizational skills • Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use software applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Acrobat) • Attention to detail combined with analytical and problem-solving skills • Acreage (metes and bounds) experience Benefits • Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-term and Long-term disability benefits, AD&D • 401(k) savings plan with company match • Paid Time Off to Include Holidays, Vacation Time, and Sick Time • Paid Family & Paternity Leave • Life Insurance • Business Travel Accident Insurance • All employees receive access to LinkedIn Learning • Tuition reimbursement for approved programs • Employee Referral Program • Adoption Assistance Program • Employee Assistance Program • Health and Wellness Program and Incentives • Employee Discounts • Employee Resource Groups Company Overview • Anywhere Real Estate Inc.
