CI/CD Scrum Master - Software Dev - Defense Missile - DoD - Huntsville AL Level: E4 Clearance: Redstone Gateway 4122 Rideout Rd, Huntsville, AL 35808 (Hybrid - 2 days a week in office W/TH) Relocation: Will consider candidates who wish to relocate within a reasonable period of time. Job Description As a member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (RA ART) of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) (aka C2BMC NT), this position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across multiple development sites. This position will also perform Scrum Master duties and Agile coaching for a Cross Functional Team of 6-10 people. The ideal candidate will assist the teams on Agile process and practices, and coordinate with them and the Product Owner. Must have an active and transferable DoD SECRET security clearance. Must be able to maintain the required clearance Required Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree (Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science) plus 5 years of experience or significant professional experience in a related field may be considered in lieu of a technical degree OR Master's degree and 3 years of experience. * Experience working with CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment/Delivery) engineering tools to help automate and streamline the process of building, testing, and deploying software applications (Ex: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Travis CI, Argo CD, Spinnaker, Octopus Deploy, Flux, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Nexus, JFrog Artifactory, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) * Experience with repository management tools * Proficient Scrum Master / Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Rally, etc.) * Management or team lead experience of 5-10 cross functional team members (coaching, mentoring). * Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with experience working with multiple disciplinary teams, including Systems Administrators, IT, and Security. Experience with MS Office products and Agile development tools. * Strong time management skills and attention to detail. Desired Skills: * Experience working as scrum master as part of the Scrum team (preferably a SW Development scrum team). * Experience with Agile development tools such as JIRA, Agility (Version One) or other Agile management tools. * Experience in decomposing (or assisting in decomposing) Agile features to user stories with clear acceptance criteria. * Agile Coaching experience would be a highly desired skill * Preferred: Agile Certification, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM). * Agile Coaching experience would be a highly desired skil Benefits: 401K, Health, Dental, Vision, flexible schedule, remote work, career growth Compensation: 115-129K Apply tot his job
