[Remote] Retirement Plan Operations Specialist

As a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist, you will learn to administer, test, and report on 401(k) plans while providing support to clients throughout the process. Responsibilities Work with clients to obtain necessary information to prepare the annual reporting Review documents submitted by clients for completeness and accuracy Reconcile plans with only rollovers and plan stock using Excel and administration software Utilize administration software to complete 401(k) testing and reporting Make outgoing reminder calls and send emails to clients during the plan year reporting process Prepare required 401(k) plan government filings, including the IRS Form 5500, using filing software Educate clients regarding the administration of their 401(k) plan and 401(k) plan documents Share knowledge and explain complex topics simply Training on concepts for a Retirement Plan Administrator I Performs other duties as required Skills Ability to work with clients to obtain necessary information to prepare the annual reporting Experience in reviewing documents submitted by clients for completeness and accuracy Proficiency in reconciling plans with only rollovers and plan stock using Excel and administration software Familiarity with utilizing administration software to complete 401(k) testing and reporting Ability to make outgoing reminder calls and send emails to clients during the plan year reporting process Experience in preparing required 401(k) plan government filings, including the IRS Form 5500, using filing software Ability to educate clients regarding the administration of their 401(k) plan and 401(k) plan documents Strong communication skills to share knowledge and explain complex topics simply Willingness to train on concepts for a Retirement Plan Administrator I Flexibility to perform other duties as required Company Overview Guidant Financial helps individuals secure small business funding to start, buy or grow a business.
