National Foods Limited, a leading integrated agro-processor in Zimbabwe, is seeking a dedicated Remote Quality Control Specialist for Product Data Listings to join our dynamic team. As we continue to expand our digital presence and product offerings, the integrity and precision of our product data are paramount. This pivotal remote role offers you the opportunity to contribute significantly to our operational excellence from the comfort of your home in Marondera, Mashonaland East Province. You will be instrumental in ensuring that all our product information across various digital platforms, internal databases, and marketing materials is consistently accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with internal standards and external regulations. This involves a comprehensive review of product titles, descriptions, specifications, pricing, imagery, and other associated attributes. Your daily tasks will include identifying discrepancies, correcting errors, cross-referencing data with source documents, and collaborating with our product management, marketing, and IT teams to implement necessary revisions. Key Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive quality control checks on all product data listings across various platforms (e-commerce, internal databases, marketing materials). • Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and discrepancies in product titles, descriptions, specifications, pricing, imagery, and other attributes. • Cross-reference product data with source documents, manufacturer specifications, and internal guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Collaborate closely with product management, marketing, sales, and IT teams to resolve data issues and implement necessary updates. • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of product data standards, naming conventions, and categorization rules. • Provide regular reports on data quality metrics and identified areas for improvement. • Assist in the development and refinement of data quality assurance processes and best practices. • Ensure all product data adheres to legal, regulatory, and company-specific compliance standards. • Manage multiple data review projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines. Required Skills • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. • Proven ability to identify and correct data discrepancies. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in arenaflex Office Suite (especially Excel/arenaflex Sheets). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Ability to work independently and maintain high productivity in a remote setting. • Strong organizational and time management abilities. • Experience with data entry and data management principles. Preferred Qualifications • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. • Previous experience in a data quality, data entry, or content management role, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment. • Familiarity with Product Information Management (PIM) systems or Content Management Systems (CMS). • Understanding of SEO best practices for product listings. • Experience working with large datasets and database tools.
