Remote Medical Assistant – RTM / RPM Program Support

Job Overview We’re seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with a background in Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) to join our care coordination team. You’ll work closely with clinicians and patients to support ongoing setup, monitoring, outreach, and documentation that help improve patient outcomes and engagement. Responsibilities • Conduct patient intake calls from physicians to identify and order program hardware and devices • Complete hardware setup phone calls with patients • Conduct regular remote outreach calls to patients enrolled in RTM and RPM programs • Document patient updates and device data accurately in the EMR • Answer incoming phone calls and conduct outreach calls to answer patient questions and troubleshoot hardware issues • Review and triage flagged readings or alerts per clinical protocols • Support patients with onboarding, device troubleshooting, and education • Communicate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and care coordinators • Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times Experience • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) required • 1+ year of experience with RTM and/or RPM programs • Previous remote or telehealth experience required • Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals alike.
