[Remote] IT Helpdesk Support Specialist - REMOTE

(DTS) is an award-winning IT consulting firm based in Columbus, OH, seeking an IT Helpdesk Support Specialist. The role involves providing front-line technical support to end-users in health systems, resolving issues related to hardware and software while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and healthcare IT best practices. Responsibilities • Provide timely, professional technical support via phone, email, remote tools • Support end-users with the following: • User setup/creation • User access to systems/applications • User role/permission changes and user audits • User Onboarding/offboarding processes • Miscellaneous help desk tasks • Document all interactions and solutions in a centralized ticketing system • Create knowledgebase articles for common issues/problems • Create videos for follow along • Mac support • Windows support • Customer internal processes support • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues with Windows and MacOS workstations, printers, scanners, and mobile devices. • Follow escalation procedures for complex incidents and comply strictly with HIPAA, security, and privacy requirements. Skills • 2+ year experience in IT Helpdesk/user support or service desk role • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills • Ability to work independently and document work accurately • Strong commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance • Operating Systems: Windows, MacOS, (basic Linux exposure a plus) • Productivity: Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), Google Workspace (optional) • Networking (Basic): DHCP, DNS, VPN clients, Wi-Fi troubleshooting • MS Access • Zscaler • NinjaOne • MS 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Security, licensing, Backups, Purview, Okta integration etc.) • Okta experience • RingCentral experience • KnowBe4 • Time Doctor Benefits • Paid time off and holidays for salaried employees • 401K, billable bonus, and health, life, vision, dental and short-term disability insurance options for all Company Overview • Who We Are Dedicated Tech Services, Inc.
