Catalyst Consulting Group is a Government Technology Services Vendor, headquartered in Chicago, that has been servicing public sector clients for 35 years. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive part-time In-House Recruiter & Administrator to support their hiring process and HR operations, managing candidate communications, recruitment tasks, and administrative responsibilities on a flexible schedule. Responsibilities • Manage Recruitment Requests • Manage job postings and collaborate with leadership on job requisitions • Monitor incoming candidate applications, inquires, and referral submissions • Prioritize recruiting tasks based on role urgency and hiring needs • Identify areas of improvement in recruiting process • Coordinate Scheduling and Communications • Ensure all candidates receive updates throughout the hiring process • Maintain recruiting calendars and schedule interviews with staff • Provide weekly reports to leadership on status of recruitment • Maintain ongoing updates to the recruitment tracker • Create, update, and deactivate user accounts in Catalyst’s staffing system • Assign and manage user roles, permissions and access rights • Support leadership team with additional documentation and administrative tasks Skills • 3+ years working in an administrative support role • 3+ years working in recruitment, preferably for IT teams • A proactive mindset and hands-on approach • Excellent communication skills, both client-facing and internal • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Benefits • Flexible work schedules • Training reimbursements • Home office assistance (including a company laptop) • 100% coverage for medical, dental and vision • Paid parental leave for all full-time team members • Company-provided computer (Mac or PC, depending on preference) • Flexible, autonomous work schedule • Virtual and in-person social events • Professional opportunities at fast-growing company with a sky-is-the-limit mindset Company Overview • At Catalyst, we are experts in developing tech solutions that guide city and state government along its path to modernization and the future of smart cities.
