[Remote] IDEXX BioAnalytics Account Manager - US-Northeast Biotech/Pharma

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IDEXX is the global leader in diagnostics and technology for animal health. The IDEXX BioAnalytics Account Manager will be responsible for selling preclinical testing services and maintaining customer relationships while delivering presentations and managing sales administration. Responsibilities • Responsible for selling IDEXX Preclinical testing services, Histopathology services, Biological Material testing services, Animal Health Monitoring Lab services as well as central lab testing for Veterinary Clinical trials. • Establish and maintain relationships of existing and potential customers, including preparing and following up on quotations and bids. • Deliver seminar-type presentations to individuals or groups of potential and existing customers on our complete range of services. • Assist customers with questions of a technical nature concerning lab services. • Coordinate and drive educational seminars in Key Strategic areas. • Attend and participate in Trade shows, including booth duties, leads generation, and follow-up. • Complete all sales administration, including completing all Salesforce.com requirements & territory management activities. • Business review participation, including presentation of financial models, cost justification, comparison, and market feedback. Communicate competitive issues to leadership. • Responsible for customer billing questions, assistance in resolving disputes, collections, and customer satisfaction. • Achieve and maintain technical knowledge and situational fluency of Bioresearch Market. Skills • B.S. Biology, Chemistry or other Life Science Related Field • 4-5+ years of successful Life Science, Research, or Preclinical sales experience in the life-science market required, animal model sales experience required • Strong experience and understanding of comparative research and animal studies • Demonstrated ability to develop, grow and manage customer relationships • Strong Territory Management and Organization - ability to successfully manage and grow a multi-state territory • Demonstrated strong sales and closing skills as well as consultative sales • Documented track record of success in achieving sales goals. • Strong interpersonal skills – Ability to build strong customer relationships, and build outstanding relationships with customers & colleagues • Skilled in needs assessment and able to develop customer-specific solutions. • Professionally mature, with flexibility and the ability to adapt to an independent and team-oriented environment. • Integrity, keeping commitments to colleagues, customers, and the company • Must possess a valid driver’s license • Some overnight travel will be required, up to 25%. • Masters Degree or advanced preferred • Must have a minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience “on the bench” in life science research strongly preferred, including animal studies • Experience with Salesforce.com highly preferred Benefits • Health / Dental / Vision Benefits Day-One • 5% matching 401k • Financial support • Pet insurance • Mental health resources • Volunteer paid days off • Employee stock program • Foundation donation matching • And much more Company Overview • Diagnostic tests and services to monitor the health of herd and flock animals worldwide.
