Digital Media Management (DMM) is a full-service social media agency that specializes in 360 campaigns for the entertainment, games, and consumer brands industries. The Assistant Video Editor will manage creative files and assist in the creation of low-lift social media assets, working closely with various team members to support the creative process. Responsibilities Ingesting, formatting and syncing of incoming raw footage. Managing media of all footage and files Simple editing (stitching clips, subtitles) of social content in various sizes for various social platforms (Instagram/Stories, Facebook, YouTube, etc) Quickly assemble edits and complement notes from creatives and clients Assist editors with project organization and asset management Create and distribute clips, GIFs and looped videos intended for use on social Create thumbnails as necessary Cut clips from long-form footage provided by client Sync audio files provided by the client Insert subtitles into cut clips for social assets Skills 1+ years of experience with editing and creating video assets, either independently or in previous employment Proficiency with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Media Encoder and After Effects as well as Final Cut and other 3rd party software, when applicable Experience in both Output and Delivery processes - Preparing elements for delivery to either client or team editors Flexibility to adapt with changing timelines and deliverables Strong communication and collaboration skills Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of editing workflows Company Overview Digital Media Management helps brands navigate social media channels, activate fan bases, and secure brand partnerships.
