[Remote] 3D Artist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 24 Seven Talent is seeking a freelance 3D artist with strong look-development and material expertise to create custom textures for branded 3D assets. The role focuses on material exploration and surface realism, requiring the development of a premium, soft, dimensional texture for product interaction. Responsibilities • Create a custom fuzzy / fiber-based 3D material from scratch • Explore 2–3 texture approaches (procedural, shader-based, or hair/fiber systems) • Refine surface detail, density, and lighting for a polished, on-brand look • Apply the texture in context (e.g., can resting on or within the surface) • Deliver assets optimized for stills and short motion loops (if needed) Skills • Strong background in 3D look development, materials, and surface texturing • Experience creating tactile materials (felt, velvet, microfiber, fur-like textures) • Proficiency in Cinema 4D (Redshift/Octane), Blender (Cycles), and/or Houdini • Solid understanding of lighting and rendering for material realism • Portfolio with close-up material or surface studies Company Overview • 24 Seven partners with companies to get marketing, creative, and digital work done by providing the right talent, innovation, and insights.
