About the position Responsibilities • Operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images as per physician orders. • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns. • Monitor and assess patients during MRI procedures for comfort and safety. • Maintain detailed and accurate records of procedures and patient data. • Collaborate with radiologists to interpret and analyze images for accurate diagnosis. • Perform routine maintenance on MRI equipment and troubleshoot issues. • Adhere to radiation safety standards and practices. • Provide patient care by recognizing and responding to emergency situations. Requirements • Strong understanding of MRI imaging procedures and safety protocols. • Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients and healthcare team. • Proficiency with computers and radiology information systems (RIS). • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and positioning patients. • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with MRI specialization (ARRT-MR). • Active state Radiology Technologist License in good standing. • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Tech - MRI or similar role. • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). • Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). • Experience with EPIC or similar charting systems.
