Property Manager - Short-Term Rentals/Airbnbs

Job Overview The Cohost Company is the premier short-term rental company in the Joshua Tree area. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing all day-to-day operational activities. You will work cross-functionally with the maintenance, housekeeping and operations teams and act as a bridge between the property owners and the internal departments. This role will require the ability to supervise others and adhere to strict deadlines to ensure guest and owner’s needs and expectations are met and exceeded. This dynamic position requires close proximity to the market and involves frequent travel to various sites within the region. Key Responsibilities • Supervise day-to-day operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as maintenance, housekeeping, social media, and operations. • Act as the main contact for new owner onboarding, ensuring a smooth process and comprehensive understanding of company practices. • Delegate tasks to field operations personnel for streamlined execution. • Travel to various properties within the designated area to oversee operations and ensure compliance. • Collaborate closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure regular property inspections meet standards and regulations. • Ensure compliance with standards at each property, meeting metrics related to owner satisfaction. • Supervise the resolution of guest and homeowner issues, ensuring timely resolution and monitoring the quality of resolutions. • Cultivate and maintain relationships with property owners, addressing concerns promptly via various communication channels. • Serve as a bridge between property owners and internal departments, ensuring effective communication and timely task completion. • Stay informed about property status, sharing insights and reports with owners, and scheduling regular touch points to proactively share information. • Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in listings, properties, and communications with property owners. • Proven experience in property management or a related field. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants. • Knowledge of facilities management practices and property maintenance procedures. Requirements: • Proven experience in a property manager or operations role in the hospitality industry (Short-term rentals, hotels and more!) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational and administrative skills • Ability to travel in the designated area and be available for emergencies • Reliable car and a valid driver’s license • Exceptional self-management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work in a fast paced environment • Responsiveness via slack and email Job Type: Part-time Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 39 per week Benefits: • Paid time off Ability to Relocate: • Joshua Tree, CA 92252: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person Apply tot his job
