About the position The Project Assistant (Transition Lead) will play a crucial role in the Redesign Employer Readiness Team, focusing on the transition to a new retirement benefits administration system. This position involves supervising a team of Transition Coaches, providing training and support to approximately 18,000 employer contacts, and ensuring successful implementation of new reporting and enrollment functionalities. The role requires strong communication skills, supervisory experience, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. Responsibilities • Supervise a unit of Transition Coaches in preparing employers for new reporting and enrollment functionalities. • Guide employers through the certification process and ensure successful report submissions. • Serve as an escalation point for Transition Coaches working with employers. • Facilitate support needs for Transition Coaches, including technical assistance. • Ensure adequate training and knowledge transfer for Transition Coaches. • Develop and review communications and training materials for employers. • Collect and assess data to monitor transition trends and staffing needs. • Measure the status of assigned employers against transition goals. • Perform direct outreach to employers regarding certification activities. • Provide assistance to employers in registering for certification and training sessions. Requirements • At least seven years of experience in outreach, training, communications, marketing, customer service, or public relations. • One year of supervisory experience. • Three years of experience providing operational assistance regarding program processes or in training development. • An Associate's Degree may substitute for two years of experience; a Bachelor's Degree may substitute for four years. Nice-to-haves • Demonstrated experience in public speaking. • Ability to prepare and interpret complex written materials. • Experience in a deadline-driven environment requiring accuracy and attention to detail.
